They could have the sixth movie bring back Kimberly and the Detective from the second movie where a teen cheats death and goes to them both for help as they are the two only survivors from the previous movies.
They could also have Alex from the first movie return. Maybe have it revealed that Alex didnt actually die in between the first and second movie and is still alive.

shareThey can't just pick a location of death to make it happen. From the first till the fifth installment, the 'start point' has to be at a vicinity which vehicles or at least a vehicle, some mode of transportation take place. Something that's not static. The title says it all.
