Any body, out there.....?

Is there any body out there who knows, and/or care about the production of "A Million Colors"?

I guess, not many, just goes to show, specially to the South African know hows, that if there is no international name attached to a local (SA) film, nobody cares.

So, put that in your SA pipes and smoke it.

And, if you still do not know what this is about, well, try and figure it out for yourselves, or keep on bleating why international actors get the SA lead roles - It is to help putting us on the map, say no more!

Not sure what you're so angry about. I saw this film at the Hollywood Black Film Festival last year because I know one of the cast members who has a flourishing acting career. The film received a standing ovation & applause. So did all the actors & director & music composer who all stayed for the Q&A that followed. We're talking Los Angeles here. That's big. It apparently also got into Montreal film festival & AFI & the Pan African film festival so it seems many audiences know about it and care. And I recently read a few days ago that TD Jakes produced the film. There are also comments on here that it is playing in Canada and I've read several favorable critical reviews from here in Los Angeles and in South Africa. So it seems that a lot of people do care about this film.
Don't know what you are referring to by lack of international names. Looks like the film has gotten distribution all over the world which already makes it a success and here in the States that is all that matters and how success is defined for foreign and independent film. Has nothing to do with the 'international name' or lack of one that you are referring to. And for the film to get distribution without an A list name means it has to be really solid. I guess your points are valid but I'm not looking at it from a South African perspective because I'm an American. The fact that you took time out of your day to come on here and make these points means you are very bitter about something. But whatever you are bitter about has nothing to do with this film. You sound like an elitist republican.
