Homophobic?

I couldn't help but notice all those terrible "gay" jokes.

I was excited to see this, but I'm sad how it made Black people seem homophobic. How is it that no one thought this was a bad idea? From the writers all the way to the actors, wtf?!?!

It's not about being politically correct. It's about not being prejudiced toward a group of people because of their sexual orientation.

You do realize that by making gay jokes in real life you're making fun of an entire group of people just because they're different right?

I noticed they didn't ave any "nappy headed" jokes or "big nose/lip" jokes. I wonder if it's because they're offensive? Gay jokes should be just as offensive to Black people.

It was when Cedric was mocking the other guy's SON for having violin and cello lessons. It was brief and fairly early in the film. It was the crassest character, and I thought he got called out for it, but lightly. I was a bit shocked that this bigotry was in the film, or wasn't called out more harshly.

If the guy was such an idiot, why did the more civilized friends let him be part of the group -- that's what I wondered.
