Well, maybe, but maybe it's that old thing that women on average mature before men. And also something to do with the sexual differences in that men have all that testosterone driving their sexuality, but women know that if they want to have children and family, something more longterm and monogamous makes more sense. In a way, they are playing different games (on average). But there are men, a couple in the film, the white guy and the homebuyer, for example, who share the more longterm and monogamous values.
Men are not fixable. Stupidly tried it. They are not. :) At least my husband isn't.
