I like that.

I think he is talented enough to be a leading man in Hollywood, he's proven actual resilience amidst popular scorn and even hostile press.

"like whiplash?" Give that up already. The true talent in that film could be found in his co star - who got the Oscar. Teller was just lucky to be in it, he's still a very mediocre actor

Go ask anyone on the street not on the internet if they know who "Miles Teller is" and do they think "whiplash" is a good movie. I guarantee the response is who? oh I havent seen it.

That has nothing to do with acting ability though. There are some great actors that are unknown and some really bad actors that are famous. Popularity does not equal skills.
