Bad casting and idiotic writing choices

Teller is no good as a boxer. Vinny most of all. He moved quite ok but was just too teenage-like. I dont know how old is Teller but he looks/acts teenage. This role was too big for him. Im not saying boxers should be 30+. Im saying every single boxer has different looks, way of walking, talking. After 5 secs you know that he's a fighter. Teller had nothing of this sort. I thought the movie was some kind of high school drama. He's a good actor but this role was a bad choice.

Thats just an opinion. Whats really bad is the story/writing. You couldn't make 3-5 minutes scene telling about other fights? Dramatic effect would be better. Instead we get a guy that after terrible accident gets a title fight. That is just beyond stupid.
