This has to be in the running for "worst ever" film title. I'm having trouble thinking of one as bad or worse. Maybe "Prometheus," I dunno. I get that Pazienza's story is intriguing but this movie couldn't have a less interesting title. Thoughts?

shareEven "Pazmanian Devil," while being Paz's eventual ring moniker, wasn't that original. He actually fought a guy in '85 with the same nickname. Jeff "Tazmanian Devil" Bumpus. Lame.
Seems like not many people share my disdain for the title, so it must just be me. I dunno. It just isn't mellifluous.

I think BFG was the worst title this year.
Bleed for This didn't jump out as me as bad, but it probably isn't a very good title now that I think about it. I don't think it really contributed to its bombing, but it probably didn't help.
I personally liked the movie but I do agree that it was a poor title.

I was in a very bad car accident myself some years ago, and speaking as someone who also had to go through very painful recovery (and who still lives with pain every day) I'd say it's actually an excellent title, because I really know what those words symbolise. I'm living them.
I'd think that it would speak to anyone who've really fought and bled for something.
Why do you think it's bad?
