Am I dreaming, did I actually watch a good boxing film?

I thought this squared up to the cliches inherent in the boxing film and carried on with the bout. Anyone agree?

Solid 8/10 for me, only thing that bugs me is the title, not sure why just doesn't sit well with me

Yes, any title with the word blood or bleed in it sounds rather...medical! It's certainly attention grabbing though and sums up Vinnie's passion for his sport. Bot only does he bleed for it, he's almost left paralysed by it.

No. You watch a good drama movie that had some boxing in it.
It's a pretty slow movie and lacks the action of a good boxing movie.

Boxing movies don't have good action, they have *beep* fight scenes. Is Rocky an action movie? Dummy.

This movie blew chunks. The worst part, watch the real fight then watch the farce they presented us with In the film. Night and day. Horrible acting, horrible casting, horrible fight choreography. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYJsMAV7fqg

What movies have good boxing fights? They all suck, from Rocky all the way to Cinderella man. Only in movies do boxer fight with their hands at their waist and get hit square with combos and just keep coming.

I am only 15 minutes in and I can already tell this is a solid movie. You think the movie was bad because the fight scenes were not up to par? What a joke.
