Incredibly good, no wonder it didn't win...

The effective speech spoken middle of the short by the radio - speaking about how people conform to mediocracy and are afraid and threatened by anything new is evident in the nature of the academy. This years choice of giving The Kings Speech the best film award is a good example of how they thrive of stories and direction that is basic, mundane and not at all new or thought provoking.
Day & Night and Black Swan are obvious winners of 2010.

Just saw the short Day and Night yesterday as a matter of fact. I loved it! I couldn't believe that I read comments concerning a politcal aspect on this. Perspective, in its most natural state, is not political. I loved that Dr. Wayne Dyer (the man on the radio recording) motioned for people to accept fear. Every great thing that each of us have obtained has come from facing fear. There is no fear in money or power, it is not great. The sense of fear is abundant in love, selflessness, and happiness, and that is why many of us roam the world in wander, complete with unsatisfactory.
