Garden State rip-off?

I have not seen this yet, but the trailer gives me a total Garden State-ripoff vibe. Those who've seen it: am I wrong? If not, 6 years later, Garden State's at 7.9 on imbd, and this thing's at 5.2. Not good for Nice Guy Johnny.

Actually, you are not far off. Its another mediocre screenplay from Edward Burns, and like "Garden State", its got a whole album worth of coffee house music in it. Only, the music in this film is not nearly as good. The IMDB ratings are about right, this is a fairly boring, predictable film.

This is an absolutely horrible film. The screenplay must have been written in about 20 minutes.

Wow, accusing a film of being a rip off when you haven't even watched it.

Yes you are wrong. This film is not even remotely close to Garden State. Nice Guy Johnny got a little cute with the soundtrack, but Garden State didn't invent soundtracks.
