Very slow and kinda boring

But still interesting ..it could have been shorter,Natalie of course showed how good of a actress she is in this movie

Also I thought the editing was horrible in this movie, some scenes just seem to jump around and was pointless, the score was very dramatic in a good way I suppose

reply

The jumping around was the problem for me.

...and creepy! A lot of gore. She sounded drunk throughout the movie.

reply

That's how Jackie sounded; she kind of spoke in a whisper with a slightly strange accent. I thought she sounded perfect.

reply

Yeah Jackie was a phony and had to keep smiling through life.

My feelings are somewhat similar, as you can see in my review here:

Your complaint about an overly long film is ironic, because Jackie checks in at only 99 minutes—some other current releases geared toward adults are over half an hour longer. But I concur that the movie feels longer because of an overbearing style and problematic editing. Conversely, as you indicated, the film's themes and emotions, along with Portman's performance, prove sophisticated and compelling.

I enjoyed the movie. I did wonder during the movie if Would have enjoyed it as much if I had not lived through the events.

That sounds terrible and yet I'd probably enjoy it more so than this steaming turd of a film.

>>Very slow and kinda boring<<

You were expecting fast-paced excitment in a film solely about a widow in the few days after her husband's murder?

reply

yes I wanted more explosions and shootouts

reply

Some people are just not cut out for drama.

reply

meh I prefer a good character driven film and good dialogue.

and of course its subjective. it just wasnt very riveting or that interesting.

reply

I didn't like it much at all. It's a well made film but not very interesting imo.
