Most of the food looks terrible

They just seem to like those gloppy, gross desserts, like puddings, custards, trifle, etc. A lot of them even have raw eggs or egg whites in them - yuck.

Most of the food is things I wouldn't want to eat. Gross game meats and disgusting desserts. Very few salads or fresh things or things that sound tasty or spicy.

I know they say British cooking has come a long way recently, but I don't see it.
