good special effects with a nonsensical story, the film is virtually unwatchable--and Michael Caine is really getting old--cost $90 million to make, grossed $27 million, what a bomb

I thought 'Pitch Black' was good. But the sequels were gawd-awful.

Oh please, it's actually a good film. Battlefield Earth just sucked.

In addition to domestic it made another 113 mil worldwide and another 18 mil in disc sales,
add to that streaming and HBO type income and the financials don't look as bleak.

I would have put The Pacifier as his worst as far as my entertainment value was concerned, but that actually made money.

Just saw it, and wondered why it flopped so hard, because it's actually a pretty good action film. Oh,well----at least it made more than its budget back worldwide----it actually deserved to, because it's pretty good. And we're all getting old---what is that supposed to mean?
