Worth watching?
I was wondering if it's worth watching this movie from a pure historical perspective without having to listen to religious or anti-religious propaganda?

Hammy acting and a Spanish Soundtrack, actually the costumes, props and scenery are actually quite good, but the camera work, editing and film quality is slightly above 1990's TV documentary style.
So don't expect good SFX (i.e. Hadoukens) or blood work like in the Passion of the Christ.
Oh and for realistic or non-mythological - the funny thing is Jesus is still some white aryan rather than the more middle eastern looking fella they had some anthropologists come up with on the Discovery/National Geographic channel.
