I thought this movie was great. I watched with a bunch of friends and we were all jumping, screaming and laughing our asses off. It's not gonna win any oscars but it's great fun.
Funniest moment is when the teacher asks his student how many legs the new species of spider has and the student says 6. We then get a close-up of the spider and it clearly has eight legs. Don't movie makers check their work?
Can't understand the really negative reviews. I've seen alot worse on the SyFy channel.

I agree. Stupid, non-factual, whatever. This movie had 3 things going for it. It moved fast, hot babes and spiders that looked good chasing down their prey. I liked it!

This has everything; the army guys, the sheriff, the students, the pacifist, the corporate bigwigs, nerds, jocks, the girl takes charge, even the bickering couple at the diner all thrown into one crazy package. A more fun watch than Eight Legged Freaks, that stupid movie.

You need to see a doctor, if ANY film EVER... makes you jump and scream!

Whether this film is any good or not (I will find out soon), no one in their right mind is likely to listen to a half witted simpleton who's reaction to a movie is 'jumping and screaming'.

You, sir, are a douche. To reply to a poster's comment on a movie without even having viewed the movie yourself only to criticize them for "jumping and screaming" (which MILLIONS of people do REGULARLY) is trollish and attention-starved. I'd venture to say you'll be watching this film (and most others) alone, because not many people can actually stand to be around you. I'd sooner chew off my own foot than be in the same room as you for that amount of time. You are rude, and (again) a douche.

*Applauds* You beat me to the punch on saying just that lol. Anyways to the movie I don't have anything good or bad to say about it since I've not seen it yet. I enjoy syfy type films and even though this is not a syfy flick I think it looked alright to watch. If they spent 150 million dollars then yeah people have a right to complain. Till then the dang trolls need to gtfo :/

It seems like you might not understand what "jumping" means. At least that is what I took away from your comment.

I highly doubt they were jumping and screaming, like howler monkeys in a jungle. There are several definitions to the word jump.
the free dictionary available online has this excerpt.
"1.
a. To spring off the ground or other base by a muscular effort of the legs and feet.
[redacted]
c. To move involuntarily, as in surprise: jumped when the phone rang.
[redacted]

It seems like you are referencing the first of the two, and I believe the OP was referencing C. or the involuntary movement of surprise.

*Shrug* His(orher) reaction seems perfectly fine for a scary film.

I was excited to bring this film to a friend's for "terrible movie night." The film was not a success. I guess we were were in the mood for a different kind of terrible. Movies like this make me angry at everything. 1/10 is far too generous.
