True + Lilly

You have to admit that her kids seems really great.

Her kids seem really calm and level headed but the whole thing about her son being engaged is a little wow

It was odd that Kirstie said she was okay with getting married at 18 because she did - yet she's not married now - is that the example she hopes her son will follow?

Personally I'd be less worried about the engagement and more worried about him planning to support himself by being a musician. I guess if your mom is super rich you don't need a backup plan.

Kirstie has made it more than plain that she's always going to be there for her kids. They will never have to worry about money as long as she's around to support them when they need it.

I think her being happy about his being engaged at this age is just putting a nice face on things. She can't very well tell him she doesn't want him to marry because she was married so young. I'm also sure she doesn't want to alienate him in any way.

Sorry, but I just don't believe she's in love with the idea that her son is getting married this young. Especially since he isn't even an established musician. He better have a better plan than "when I grow up I wanna be..."

Gene Simmons show comes on before Kirstie's and his kids are so funny and bright. Kirstie's kids seem like really nice people but they are kind of really boring and dull. Nick and Sophie just have "it" and they seem to be good kids as well.

Now I must give you one smirk, then we can be rational again.

To me, Lilly seems very self conscious and uncomfortable being in front of a camera. It's nice to see teenagers love their mom though. I just wonder how much of it is real. Not the love, but wanting to do the show.

Kirstie made the comment (I think on Oprah) that her kids asked her if they could get jobs. She asked if they wanted to be on her show and they asked if they would get paid. Kirstie said yes - so they said yes.
I'm not sure if Kirstie made that up - sounds kind of strange that they'd have to ask her if they could get jobs for one. Also, she made it seem like they needed jobs for money, which I'm sure they don't.
Both kids seem kind of shy and quiet - the opposite of their mother! But, that's Ok....we're not all meant to be in show busines.

I think her kids are great kids!

I do have a question though...are they biological brother and sister? They look so much alike it's uncanny. I know they're adopted but I was wondering if they were real siblings biologically...anyone know?

They are not biological brother and sister, Lazacka. He was adopted first and then she was adopted at a later date.

After those adoptions, Kirstie experienced a miscarriage and a stillbirth.

Her ex got 6 million bucks from the divorce and then he asked for $75,000 a month for alimony. They both share custody of the kids.

Can you imagine? Needing 75 thousand bucks a month to live? Unreal.

Maybe deep down she knows it probably won't work out (engagements at that age often don't). But no kid wants to hear it, so they just let it run its course.
