Wow

I love Kirstie Alley, but this "reality" show is just terrible. I wonder if the reason it is so poorly scripted is because someone new to writing is writing it. How else could something so not funny be put on the air? If I was the writers, I would never admit to writing for this show.

I like the people on the show. Every one of them has something good about them. Her kids are great, I have to say. But lets get real here, no one, in their right mind, would ever believe that Kirstie is having sex with Nick.

They are supposedly doing a videotape in secret for Jim while he's back in Florida. Kirstie supposedly hurt her shoulder during the making of it. Nick rubs her shoulder and her assistant thinks that's sex? Give me a break. You'd have to be 5 years old to think the sound they were making were sexual in nature.

Of course all reality shows are scripted, but at least they TRY not to make it so obvious. THIS show, however, is insulting to anyone with even a smidgen of intelligence.

They are supposed to be keeping this tape a big secret, yet Kirstie and Nick sit at the breakfast table talking about it in front of her daughter? Talking about how hard he worked and how she egged him on, etc. If you're trying to keep a tape you're making a secret, are you really going to sit in front of people and talk about the making of it?

They must be going after a teenage audience, that's the only thing I can think about this show. Unfortunately for them, I think even teenagers are too sophisticated for this show. The entire household gets together to discuss the "evidence" they've all discovered over the week and conclude that Kirstie and Nick had sex. How juvenile is that? And how NOT funny.

I love Kirstie, but this show is just wrong, wrong, wrong. The writing is terrible. It's supposed to be funny and isn't, it's supposed to be witty and clever and doesn't come close to either one of those things. I think it is falling fall short of Kirstie's vision for a reality show. At least, I HOPE it's falling short because if this show is Kirstie's idea of funny, then she has a very strange sense of humor.

I COMPLETELY agree. I like Kirstie Alley, but this show is a joke. Its so obvious its scripted, it annoying. At least try to hide that its scripted and don't make it so obvious.
