The reviews and Redbox...
As there weren't 100s of reviews, I chose to quickly glance at every one AFTER I saw the movie.
What's with nearly every one sounding the same and mentioning Redbox? Is it a GD advertisement for Redbox and/or were 'most' of the reviews written by the same person?
Someone who seemed disgruntled by this movie.
Got news for you, this movie to me was gutsy, gritty, and well-acted, ESPECIALLY considering it was a bunch of unknowns.
And the movie this was MOST similar to wasn't those mockumentaries that same guy (well all the 'different' reviews) mentioned.
It was MOST like Buried 2010.
Big difference is the critics seemed to go ape sh*t over that one and it seemed to cost a lot of money (for nothing - really nothing), and THAT one was boring and a big letdown.
This one was MORE interesting, with better acting than the actor in Buried who was paid a lot, yet every one and their grandmother seems to dog on it.
Unfairly. As the main characters were heartless, the dialog seemed a WHOLE lot more realistic and convincing than other movies of this genre.
And I have no connection with this movie. I just watched it for the 1st time today.
