FOX, Don't canel this!

Before Running Wilde's pilot aired, I saw maybe 4 repeats of the same tv ad with Russel and Arnett talking about their new show. That's it. No idea what the show was about but I tuned in cuz I like Arnett. Never saw any clips of the pilot to be or clips from future episodes. Why not??? The lack of advertising for this show (and many other great shows that fly under the rader on FOX) is so frustrating.

I tuned in because I adore Arnett's acting. Stayed with the show because the supporting cast was good as well. The writing was hilarious and subtle (btw, it really seems subtle is the kiss of death for many comedies on tv). The base of the characters was a great start but needs more than a handful of eps to really get grounded and entertaining. At least give the show an actual full season to gather viewers! 22 episodes, not 13. And for God sake, advertise the show more! Most people don't even know FOX is airing Running Wilde, or Raising Hope for that matter. No one knows about this show. Where oh where was the advertising?? And don't cancel it now that you have a small but devoted group of viewers! Have you learned nothing from how you handled Titus, Arrested Development, Firefly, Back to You or 50 other great shows you canceled for "lack of viewers"?

Don't cancel this. I need more Fa'ad.
This show cannot be moooooved...

I agree with everything you said, especially about needing more Fa'ad!

Like this show, loved Arrested Development, and loved Firefly. Fox needs to stop canceling shows that have such potential.

I would never have even heard of this show if it wasn't for Hulu...

Gah, I hate fox! Stop canceling such awesome shows. :(

I love this show. And it is getting better and better. Tonight's ep was great!

reply

don't worry, Fox has no plans to canel this show. They have in fact never had to canel a show in their entire history.

"Cheers", "Hill Street Blues", and "The Office" all had disastrous first seasons, only to be rescued by Emmy wins and routinely win their time slots. It's up to you, Emmy voters!!!

reply

I don't think that Emmy cares about awards....

Well played...
