Arnett's Wife's show is scheduled to return this Winter...

I wonder if there's a connection between the airing of "Running Wilde" and the hiatus of "Parks and Recreation." One reason that P&R was delayed was because Amy Poehler was recovering from having her baby. Poehler was the executive producer of P&R, while her husband Will Arnett was the executive producer of RW. RW was a ratings disaster, falling 30% from "Raising Hope", which itself fell 30% from "Glee," and I almost wonder if the show was designed to be a filler to give the Arnett family a paycheck through the fall season.

If nothing else, the above paragraph would make for a great episode of "Running Wilde." I really hope they renew it. :)

parks and recreation did not take a filming break during the summer they just continued filming season 3 right after season 2 to accommodate her pregnancy it got delayed to mid season because nbc decided to try out a new show called outsource on Thursdays

"Outsourced" was added to NBC's schedule in place of its lowest rated Thursday Night Comedy, P&R. Now, NBC has altered its Thursday Night Line-up to include 6 comedies, allowing P&R to come back without bumping any of its current comedies. And speaking of NBC's Thursday Night Line-up, it should also be noted that the non-celebrity "The Apprentice" routinely had fewer viewers in 2010 than Jay Leno did in the same time slot in 2009. "The Apprentice" also had fewer viewers than did "Running Wilde." Maybe RW should go up against "Apprentice" on Sunday Nights this spring.
