Looks like Cloris disliked the show in later seasons...

I watched an interview with her on Queen Latiffa and she was literally surprised when QL told her that she liked the show.
Cloris went 'Really? But it's so silly?' and there was another interview with her in the Annie awards where the interviewer congratulated her on the show and she said something like 'You really think it's funny? I only believed someone who's only 8 would find it funny' or something like that... In the same interview she was asked why she wanted to do 'The Croods' to that she replied 'The money!'
As much as I love her , I think she his terrible at interview and she his (Not purposely) disrespectful towards people who works in the films/Shows she his involved with. She seem simply money driven...

The show did get overly silly in the later seasons, so I do honestly agree with her and understand why she wouldn't like it as much.

How dare you speak to the prince of evil that way, you SLUT?

reply

Ho I agree, the first season was much better then the rest but still I feel she needs to refrain herself from saying things that might offend people she worked with...

I think Cloris lost the old fliter with her last stroke. *shrug*

Betsy Palmer hated horror movies and thought Friday The 13th was a great big steaming pile of *beep* 30 years later she realizes it was a classic, and her greatest role of her career.... If Cloris lasts till around 2040 she might see it for the gem it was and change her mind

I don't think raising hope is going to be the shining moment she thinks of when she reflects back on her career at the end of her life.

That would be Beerfest.

She liked the money she got, though. It's called biting the hand that feeds you.

I guess it's like looking at clouds. You see one thing and I see another. Peace.

You kids might like to look back to cinema history and watch her in YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN and the ultimate classic THE LAST PICTURE SHOW to see where she thinks these seasons were silly. And yes, most actors/actresses are only in it for the money once they have worked with the best in the industry decades ago.
