Did Jimmy and Sabrina ever find out that Lucy was still alive? I know it was recorded on their wedding video, but I assumed Burt was successful in stealing that, since Jimmy continued to refer to Lucy as dead.
This just always bothered me because since Lucy was still alive, Jimmy and Sabrina were never legally married.
I just watched the episode, season 3-14. Where they went to go get the certificate and the clerk at the court house told burt and Virginia that Jimmy is still married to Lucy.
Burt goes to lucy's dad's house to get the death certificate, Burt brings the certificate to the pastor after that. so I think lucy's dad faked the death certifucate.
Burt knows but I don't think virgina does. Even though Lucy did sneak into the chapel during the ceremony.
