Actually good!

This is what would be made if 90's Nickelodeon went gay. Over the top comedic acting, a light hearted story about learning to accept yourself and others. The ridiculously naive mother and aunt get most of the laughs. Deffinately a daytime movie and not for a movie night. Supprisingly good! Give it a rent guys n girls! 5.5/10

just rented it...it was actually a feel good movie. The lead actress was very good.

The lead actress was very good.
If you mean the woman who played the mom, I completely agree. She was quite funny, but in the end when it got 'serious', she was able to be honest and real with the emotions, rather than 'dramatic'.

Overall, the movie was a bit thin- but it accomplished what it set out to do: entertain me, make me chuckle often and laugh heartily a time or two, and make me care about the characters. I'd definitely recommend it.

Just finished watching it... LOVED it.
Fantasia was my favorite.

I play this from time to time, when I feel down or just in the mood for something with a happy ending. As a gay male I have to say that the final mother-son scene is the best I've ever seen. Simple but so hard to go through in real life, and the way they did it was fantastic. No drama, just pure truthfulness. A moment that makes grown (gay) men cry like babies. If only more parents were like that.

Beautifully put, Outterspaces! That last scene was marvelous. I love this movie. It always makes me smile a lot.
And, by the way, not only the mother was great. The actor playing Brian was fantastic it that scene. It seems he was really crying. Souch a sweet movie.
