Sure, the haters are out, but this one wasn't too bad.

Most of the SyFy movies are just unwatchable. This one was pretty decent. The Hairy Mrs. actually let me keep it on. Remarkable.

If you like post-zombie apocalypse movies, you could do worse. Much worse.

Sure, your wife let you watch it. It was with Sean Bean (I would go to the cinema and buy the DVD if he would just sit in a chair and read the phone book).

reply

I agree, I really enjoyed this movie. Though it is mind-boggling to think that Syfy actually made a movie that I watched for more than a few seconds.

reply

Agreed. Much much better than the usual fare from syfy. I'd watch it again, even. :)

wow a coherent plot decent visuals and a cast that could act ...cant be a syfy channel film surely

reply

I liked it.

Giselle and Miru and Dorel showed lots of cleavage and leg. Perfecto!!

reply

50% of the film's appeal rests on the babes in alluring (but not slutty) attire.

reply

Yes, we could do much worse. This had Sean Bean. A step in the right direction.

for the last 3 years, I've noticed a rash of watchable movies on SyFy. Before then, it was abortions such as Iron Invader and Ice quake. Nowadays, we get treated to movies with directors who seem not to be complete morons. We get character development, (the good kind. Not the awkward, oddly timed ones) proper plot timing, etc.

Did you see Area 51? Absolutely horrendous costumes (its a dude in a suit) but the directing got me off of that. I would give that movie a C+. Here, B+

Just saw it and liked it! Very silly and they did everything too quick to be back in time to save the villige, but I dont care since the movie was nice to watch.

reply

^ Agreed. It was good fun and a bit silly. How do they keep their skin in such good condition?

reply

Agree surprised at the quality for a SyFy channel movie. Actually watched the whole thing in real time not DVR. But then, Sean Bean doesn't pick many clunkers to hang his rep on.
