So where can you see this?

Is it out in the US or any other markets? Or just Japan?

Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful.

Not that it helps you directly, but I've just seen it in Singapore. If you get the chance, you should see it — a really pleasing sequel to the original story.

Try YesAsia. They have the DVD and Blu Ray in stock.

It's always second best to see it on a small screen but it doesn't look as though it's gong to get a pubic release. I've seen a couple of film festivals and events where it's advertised in 2011 but nothing wide scale. So, yes DVD and Blu Ray is the only option for most people.

Here in the future it's on Netflix.

This will be the high point of my day; it's all downhill from here.

Yeh, but Netflix refers to Akari as "Akira".
(I wondered why they showed a woman on the front cover instead of the main character)
