the only good thing can japanese do is writing the stories it's better than the hollywood 100 times and making the anime .but they are very bad with making moves like this ,this movie have very good story but the script and too much silence with out music and very beautiful but bad actor without emotion the movie was good only from the story part imagin some hollywood director like peter jacson or james cameron make this movie it will be better than titanic 10 time .the hollywood make the worst story good movies on box office so why they dont make this stores a movie ???????????

i liked the anime but the movie was baaaaaaaaaad until reach 1:40 of the movie so it was the end :P

If Hollywood did a version of this movie she would meet the guy in the park when he was 56. He would tell her he was on that bus that night and fell asleep or took a walk and got lost ...or something, while the bus was on a meal/rest stop and had to wait for the next bus. They wouldn't remember one another exactly, but they would both feel the other was vaguely familiar. And then he would introduce her to his "son" who would be played by the same actor. Hollywood can't have anything less than a totally happy ending.
