Hope they make a trilogy...

don't care if he was a terrible husband, lousy father or not always likeable... to me, he'll always be one of my biggest heroes. the adventures he took on... that takes guts and persistence. those were golden years to be an adventurer. wish i was born back then.

anyway, i've read all his books and others' about him/his adventures, went to the musea in Oslo, saw every docu and now am excited to go see this film. don't really care if it's not perfect, just to see this particular adventure on the screen is worth it to me for sure (just as i loved Sanctum, not the best of movies at all, but for my love of caving/cavediving...).

given that, i'd love to see them make a movie about his adventures on the Tigris and Ra as well...
