In the movie Phife was talking about something that Tip said over the mic at a concert early on in the filming process that pissed him off so bad that he said "That was IT for me!" I've seen it twice now and I still have no idea what Tip said. Who caught that?
shareI just saw this movie last night, so it's still fresh in my mind. This happened when they had a reunion performance at the Rock the Bells 2008 in San Francisco. Phife was physically exhausted on stage and needed to have Jairobi hold him up. It was then that Q-Tip said "Look alive, look at Phife Dawg" during the song "Find A Way". As you know, Phife didn't appreciate that at all.
shareI agree with kmghorm. Q's response to that was that he didn't know that Phife was feeling bad because Phife only talked about being fit and able to do the show.
It did seem a bit insensitive on Q's part but it is difficult for someone who has never been seriously ill to understand what someone else has to go through.
That's just my take on it.
