CW’s High Society Takes Least-Watched Premiere Title from TBL!

"Ashton Kutcher can breathe a tiny bit easier as the premiere of High Society on Wednesday night became this season’s least-watched premiere on the CW. High Society’s 1.26 million came in under the nearly 1.4 million who watched the premiere of The Beautiful Life: TBL, which has the Washington Post’s Lisa de Moraes asking:

“Blonde Charity Mafia” suddenly doesn’t look so bad, does it, CW? Especially now that you’ve seen the opening numbers on “High Society”?"

But for a reality show those don't sound like bad numbers. "Kell on Earth," which I love, premiered at about 270,000 so I'm sure it'll be cancelled. Sux.

But unless there's a huge drop off it sounds good enuf to be renewed for another season.

you must be joking... after watching that i honestly think it would be better for the world if all of the people in that show would be dead anytime soon

I'm talking strictly numbers, here...I don't think anyone is denying that this is trash TV (big surprise). But for a cheaply produced reality show those sound like good enough numbers to get renewed. They don't have to dole out the same salaries that they have to for actors on scripted shows like TBL. Thus reality show ratings need not be as high.

I wonder what numbers would have episode 2, how many times they would go lower...

See, I'm not all that familiar with reality ratings numbers. What typical CW reality show ratings are you talking about and what are considered decent numbers?

So if this were Bravo or MTV, then 1,25 mil WOULD be considered good ratings?
