I used to read the twitter page before the son got greedy

He had a good thing going. I don't begrudge him the book because I think this stuff could translate very well to a book. But a $#i!com? Now people are just getting greedy. And it cost the twitter page. Through all this B.S. you know the old man was coming up with some of his best material. The moment he learned fat Captain Kirk was playing him had to have been memorable. The overnight hype and the attempt to exploit it and make it into something more than it was turned me off to the whole thing.

And now that it's been canceled I was hoping there'd be some inspirational quote from the old man. "I told you you'd never amount to anything." Something painfully accurate like that. Alas, even with the extra time on his hands, the son only posts about 1 quote per month.

I guess when you convince yourself you should be making money on jotting down what someone else says the motivation for going back to doing it for free is hard to come by.

He's a nice guy. His new book is funny as hell. If a studio offers you millions to make a tv show, you take it.
