Awesome flick!

It started out great. The fake ads were very creative. Great action and solid editing.

Although the film's power went down after the team entered 'The Zone' and the survival stories were just average to bad; they could have thought of anything else for short break fillers.

But overall a great treat to all zombie movie fans. 7.5/10.

I liked it as well. Dug the cast and it was a blast seeing Roger Cross, Scott Adkins, and Bruce Payne. Kind of edgy and downright scary at times. Well worth the wait.

Agreed. What surprised me was how *intense* several of the scenes were. Plenty of suspense and at least a could jump scare moments that got me. The over used shaky cam was the only real negative. I liked the concept overall. Would love to see the sequel they obviously set it up for in which the last of humanity tries to weather outbreak 2 on the "Ark".

I agree! I usually dislike, or am just not that interested in, action-adventure movies, and don't really see this as horror; I suppose it would be classified as such given the zombie factor, but it had a different vibe. I thought the ads were a unique and interesting way to portray the changes society has undergone since the outbreak - what the hell, might as well smoke; the walled-in "safe" community; have sex, we need to re-populate!

I loved Ellis the Arborist, who went at his stepfather with a chainsaw, but got "lucky": "We cut s**t!" Not the greatest story, but really liked the actor; gotta look up his name.

The clips being run of the R-Division guys talking with "Killed in Action" shown on the screen were unsettling.

I hope they didn't waste much money on "special makeup effects" as I could barely make out any Re-An faces - or just what the heck was going on, really - in those murky, shadowy fight scenes with the camera bouncing all over the place. (I just waited for a KIA clip or newscaster to catch me up.)

It was a little disturbing how readily I accepted that the movie's events would be a TV show within the movie's context - and with those ads interspersed.

I too would like to see a sequel involving the second wave and the ark. I wondered if this might be a sequel, itself? but I guess not; in which case, I'd also like to see a prequel!

I cant believe this didn't get a higher rating! The commercials were a brilliant idea and perfectly executed.

I liked it... Not as a zombie movie but as an adventure flick
