so how did all the missing items end up on the doorstep? and in the bed?

The insect thing put them there.

Daniel said he wished she hadn't made a trade. Right after he did that, the insect thing came. The trade occurred when she brought the food to the end of the tunnel and then "something" brought the jewelry to her doorstop.

But the other guys son always brought a trade to the tunnel lol why was he never stalked

Because he KEPT bringing things. Once you start, you can't stop or it will come after you.

The Troll was trading with Calli. It brought those things to her.
