Example why gaffers/best boys should not make films


I hold this film up as an example of why people who work behind the scenes should not necessarily become directors. All one need to do is look at this dude's history of work to know that just because he worked on various B movie sets, that he did not need to become a director. I've never been a fan of CGI. I used to think CGI looked really fake but thanks to this dude, I can now say I know the difference between good CGI and bad CGI.
How do poor films like this get the green light, I'll never know.
Sure, Meredith Baxter is the ONLY PERSON on this film who knows how to act and her character is believable but the plot holes are enough to fly a REAL airplane through.
I don't know if this dude knew some rich people in Hollywood who felt he could pull off a film or not but they got ripped off if that's the case!

The thing is I like the fact people like this get the chance to make movies,there so much fun to watch,ridicule,and then bitch about on these forums.(And actually give's me a rare chance to give a 10/10 rating as well!)
