Reason for ending?

I would guess because of Adam DeVine's sudden rise in popularity? After that Mike & Dave movie he's been getting a lot of leads in upcoming projects. I think I did hear they're trying to make a movie together (not Workaholics, but something else) with Kyle directing.

I would assume decline in popularity and lack of interest on the creator's parts. I mean, the guys pretty much stopped writing episodes in S2 and that was 6 years ago. I think they're just done.

Had no idea Adam was getting popular. To me he's almost unbearable most of the time. It's just probably a lack of viewers since it's getting worse.

All 3 have been in several movies now, and have many coming out on imdb. Plus, they want to start a brand new show as well together. Being new and creative keeps things exciting for a lot of people.

The ratings pretty much tanked after season 4. They were doing a 1.5 million views an episode at one point and now its around .5 million. If you figure the budget for season 1 was basically nothing and pulling in 1.5 million views here we are 6 years later, the show's budget is way higher and they are pulling in no where near the viewership. It's time to pull the plug. Even though this show was brilliant at the start it always had a end in sight. The guys are in their 30s and im not sure how long they want to play a show thats supposed to be a few guys living like 23 year olds right out of college. Its get stale after a while and no point of playing this to the death. Leave on a higher note. The worst thing would be trying to suck the life out of this show like Married with Children which was brilliant for the first few seasons and then just wouldn't go away.

Besides Comedy Central ratings are tanking as it is and millennials are cord cutting left and right.
