Officially Canceled by ABC

Sad news, but it seemed inevitable. A total of 13 episodes will be filmed, but they haven't said how many will actually air.

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo not again!

reply

That really sucks. Along with Detroit 1-8-7 this is what I have been most looking forward to of the new shows.

reply

Of the new shows, i liked this one, defenders, and shat my dad says has good actors.
That not includeing cable shows that started in the summer, for hot in cleveland and mellisa and joey are decent shows.

reply

Was that show canceled as well? I was so annoyed when "Man from Mars" ..if that was the name..I forgot already! I liked that show, I liked "Invasion"..I am surprised that "Lost" lasted as long as it did!

reply

Good, this show was awful. Detroit 1-8-7 is even worse. The Defenders seems to have won the "new legal show" battle, and rightfully so.

reply

if only this show and the defenders could both win

reply

Detroit 1-8-7 is well acted, well-written, have great production values and compelling stories. What's the problem? Also, I am glad that they are letting us see the last few episodes of this, at least.

To bad as I really like this show and love Maura Tierny. This Is the one time where I thought the leads should have hooked up, It would have been enough to push the show to higher ratings. These think tanks for networks sometimes over think these things and need to learn the pulse of the general viewing public at a much faster pace, considering the money they spend you have to start wondering just how they come to some of there conclusions on what's hot and what's not.

reply

Promising concept; but it didn't quite work. I like Rob Morrow and Maura Tierney; but the supporting cast was bad (with the exception of the totally underutilized Eamonn Walker).

reply

I really like this show. The concept was done a few years back, but not nearly as well (what was the name of that show???) Love the leads. They should've given this one more time.

justice?

reply

Yes "Justice". Which Eamonn Walker was in.

reply

I really enjoyed Justice. I was disappointed when they cancelled it. I was also excited about this one too because I loved Justice so much. Too bad. Both those shows were different and smart... and I really liked the fact that you see what exactly happened.

FVCK ABC! Shows like this which have promise and potential get the axe before the writers even get a chance to develop the characters while shows like Dancing With the Stars and all the other "Reality" B.S. are continually forced upon the viewers. Who is running this P.O.S. network?!

Well that's disappointing. How the fnck did this show lose to that fncking defenders show on CBS? Jim Belushi as a lawyer, are they kidding???

CONAN - Monday November 8 on TBS

reply

Ehh... I liked the actors on this show but the show was always missing something. The concept and execution of the premise was fine, but I never really felt empathy for any of the characters on the show.

I just started watching the Defenders and it's a better show as far as the characters are concerned even though the actors aren't as good as on The Whole Truth. The writing is better and the two leads have great chemistry. The interplay and dealings with opposing counsel and judges make that show stand out. I can see why the Defenders won this battle.
