Fun!

I've been wanting to see this movie for awhile! It will release soon, but I will have to wait, because I do not live where the movie releases in theaters:(

Looks like this will be another cute movie (yes, chick flick, written all over it!), but something will definitely set it apart. Also, the movie looks really colorful (visually) and modern!

Sure to be a hit, mark my words:)

Well there is a newcomer in it and for Anushka, it's her third movie. She seems more mature and natural with her acting. I think from mid way it will turn in to a love story.

reply

yeah, I think it will be a love story too. I'm excited to see this one.

reply

Do you think the movie will give a intelligent insight in to wedding plannings ?. It's nice to learn too.

reply

If so, I don't think it will be traditional Indian weddings! I am curious myself as to what the movie will mainly focus on, either way we should see some type of wedding

reply

The movie will probably follow up with their wedding in the climax. The movie released last friday.

reply

Right! That would be awesome... they should have the most lavish wedding because they are wedding planners after all!

I watched a "wedding movie" called 'Revenge of the Bridesmaid' ..it's good if you have time to see it.

reply

That's right. However there is a kissing scene in the movie. It looks nice. Bollywood is progressing. It appears to be that locking lips makes a career go places.

Thanks for the movie recommendation. I will catch it for sure.

reply

oh, how people will talk! It gets the audience going, I assume!
Yeah, it sure has! I was surprised at 'Kurbaan', there were a few sex scenes in there and also 'Dev D'

reply

That scene with kareena and saif was impressive. It looked so real. She has never done anything like that before.

reply

As predicted! I pick the best movies, lol

Wow, I just watched this movie after wanting to watch it for months! But the wait was worth it because I feel like watching it again!

reply

I liked it too. But I felt that the male lead was annoying at times. His over exatterated indian village accent was annoying at times, I could not understand why Anushka fell for him. But the actress played her role very well. The second half was more engaging.

reply

its a fun enjoyable movie. I thought she was kinda annoying with her being bossy and firing him! I did like her character when she wasn't controling. Yeah sometimes an actor overracts with the use of an accent... reminds me of Casey Affleck trying to speak an in southern accent!'

You know, I wasn't aware that marriage planning would be something that they teach at college. That is weird. Are there any special skills that attribute to that profession?

reply

possibly, interior design/ decorating.

reply

With the charging fee that people pay for all the preparations, it sure must be worth the money.

reply

it seems to be.. weddings can be fun especially during receptions. All the weddings in band baaja baaraat looked spectacular.. I love traditional Indian weddings, so intimate, yet everyone invited has fun with the dancing and all.

reply

There's one thing I have found strange with indian weddings. Guys are afraid and don't have the nerve to ask girls out on a date or even approach to talk to them. It is weird. But with white folk weddings everybody is so chilled out. Elders will dance with the young and the bride and groom will even kiss each other in the public. Maybe it's all about respect.

reply

well...dancing is pretty much the focus during Indian receptions..almost everyone ..young and old are dancing. as for public kisses, with culture differences, it varies with traditions. as with the dating thing too, not sure of it being afraid of dating, it may just be not a big deal to date before marriage.. its all about cultures and tradition. but for the most part, the weddings are respected and far more important in countries than others.
