Just finished watching this series

And I've got to say this is a quality show.

It started off a little awkward but once it got rolling boy is it funny, great characters and they did a wonderful job casting the right people for the right roles. Everyone in both seasons were terrific, especially once the show found it's stride. The writing is good too, really picked up in the 2nd season but maybe having a season under the actors' belts helped a lot with that too.

My favourite episode was the second season one entitled "The Art of Gambling", but there's lots of close contenders.

I think it's a real shame that this show got cancelled so early in it's run, I think perhaps it didn't get the exposure it needed to for it to really take off, but I do remember CTV plugging it a fair bit at the beginning right before it premiered. It's hard for Canadian television shows to compete, there just isn't the same interest or exposure in them (at least early on) which is a waste of great potential because generally they're good quality. It's too bad CTV didn't trust in the series a little more because this was a good show with great promise; better than Hiccups and en par with Corner Gas I feel. It really grew on me as the show went on. Thanks for the quality entertainment!
