At first - I was worried about the animals, especially when the horse got hurt so graphically. Over the course of the series - they did a really good job of showing how well they took care of the animals. Kudos!

Yeah, I much prefer a circus that only uses domestic animals vs. Ringling Brothers which has lions, elephants, tigers, etc and has been in the headlines for animal cruelty. I like the horses and dogs better- seeing the wild animals in the circus just makes me sad.
