This movie is loosely based on 500 days of summer!! anyway they have changed some but not up to the original ....

This movie have nothing to do with 500 days of summer. Can you explain why this movie is based on 500 days of summer? I have seen both movies twice and I can't find anything to compare

besides the fact that in both movies the main character's love doesnt succeed, the female lead gets married to another guy when both the characters meet up towards the end of the movie and ohh also the part where the male lead in both movies have achieved somewhat success in their lives by the end of the movie? Its loosely based so basically i think u sud have gotten the rough idea..

Most of it is actually loosely based on the life story of Gautham Menon.

you think mark webb and gautam menon are the only two people to have loved and lost???????

they have a similar theme, but the screenplay is ass different as chalk and cheese!

its not based on 500 days of summer, but I guess this must have happened to gautam menon....

the ending made it absolutely brilliant!!

Yup!But the main storyline was ripped off from "Annie Hall" a 1977 American romantic comedy directed by Woody Allen.

Vinnaithandi varuvaya=ANNIE HALL(story+climax)+500 DAYS OF SUMMER(visuals);

i dont think so... there are some similarities but.. two movies are great in their own way
