Jagger/The Stones, like McCartney, are absolutely tireless in flogging whatever merchandise they currently have for sale. Everywhere you look or listen, they're there. At least the Stones have an excelllent product this time, unlike McCartney, who has been selling trash for thirty years.

Alot of ex-wives and kids to feed.

McCartney selling trash for 30 years! Utter *beep* - try and listen to his last two studio albums "Chaos and Creation" & "Memory Almost Full" without prejudice and you'll hear an old master back on his game - "Dance Tonight", "You Tell Me" "Fine Line" "That Was Me" and "Friends To Go" and many others are testament to an artistic renaissance that you obviously can't hear.
Roll on Macca's Glasgow concert on June 20th - I'll be there!

Nothing McCartney has ever done is anywhere near remotely close to as cool as anything the Stones have done.

As somebody who tends to agree with the assessment that the Stones are cooler, I must point out that there is, indeed, one thing McCartney (and at least the Beatles) did that was cooler than the Stones: they never tried to imitate the Stones. Whereas the Stones obviously had a complex for a bit in the mid/late 60's (especially Mick) and felt the need to occasionally try to nip at the Beatles heels. The Beatles, as a band, never even bothered to really acknowledge the Stones as innovators or influences. They were the Beatles.

ckn8:
You are incorrect and therefore quite the imbecile. The Beatles admitted on many occasions that they were envious of the Stones and wished they had their persona and image - it is well documented. Please try not to be so stupid in the future as you set a poor example for fellow Stones fans the world over.

"Welcome Rolling Stones- good guys" cover Sgt. Pepper. That's pretty cool. I wonder whose idea it was McCartney???
