It is a shame that more Indian movies are not like this...

Hi!

We have a lot of crap movies coming out these days with mainstream actors. usually they are meant to be love stories, or hero's who make a living being criminals or conmen. Movies like Prince, Badmash Company, No Problem, Jai Veeru are ridiculous and have that childish mediocre feel to them due to overusage of sexuality, and youthfulness. Then there are movies which are blatantly copied such as Partner, Right Ya Wrong, Action Replayy, Knock Out, etc. etc.

I am ashamed that actors like Sahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshaye Kumar, Shahid Kapoor, etc. don't bother to stick to indie movies, and do movies which are meaningful. If they only appeared in movies like LSD, and other indie movies, they may have been respected like their Hollywood counterparts, Tom Cruise, Edward Norton, Christian Bale, etc. Instead they go on to do flawed action movies with no substance, and only shameful tactics.

I think it is time for Bollywood to give movies based on realism a chance, so that we have something actual to look at, and believe in.

It's sad but true. However, I'm happy enough to see that people DO appreciate indie movies.. we can't do anything about those that just seem to enjoy the tedious mainstream movies. It's glad to see Bollywood go all avant-garde.
