Tommy Wirkola, why do you bother? You obviously have the resources and contacts to make movies. And this is the best you can come up with?

Well....I have to disagree with you here...I LOVED Dead Snow, and thought it was one of the best Norwegian films from last year...and, from what I've read, it sold to over 60 different countries, and screened at Sundance, so obviously there are a lot of people disagreeing with you here...

Also...Kill Buljo and Kurt Josef Wagle are movies that you like if you have a certain sense of humor...I have and I liked them...some of my friends hate them, yes, but that is the nature of film...

I just don't understand the hostility here...a lot of people enjoy his movies, you don't, but that don't mean YOU are right and the other ones are wrong...
I also read that he is currently developing a movie with Will Ferrel and Adam McKay, I am sure they know films just as good as you do..

I think you misunderstood him. It's THIS movie he's criticizing, and argues that a man that can make Dead Snow (and later Hansel and Gretel) has the contacts and resources to make something better than the joke that his movie is.

Norwegians really have to stop overhyping every Norwegian movie they like. They are NOT "brilliant" just because they are watchable. If this movie was Brazilian, Norwegians would have hated it. It's just misplaced and embarassing nationalism.
