this show gets better and better each episode...it rules....players ball

episode was non-stop funny. The writing seems more rapid-fire the last couple episodes and is wackier, it works perfectly and 'feels' like the movie pacing. the idea of tying in 70's references and black stars throughout the series is genius.

Black Dynamite was one of the most creative, entertaining and funniest flicks in the last decade. I wasnt sure how well it would translate to animation...however they've done a phenomenial job of coming up with crazy@ss scripts and its awesome. Fingers crossed it gets renewed and sticks around for a while.

I like Black Dynamite (animated) too! I just hope they try to bring the Boondocks back for another season so that both series could air back to back.

Agreed, I had somewhat low expectations for the series but I'm glad it managed to shatter those expectations...I'm also glad I have the habit of checking out terrible looking movies on Netflix and happened to stumble across the movie.

You know, at first I was a little annoyed at the prospect of BD becoming little more than a 'celebrity of the week' type of show; but when I think about it, he's pretty much doing with blaxploitation and black stars what The Venture Bros. does with old comicbooks and TV shows. And that's cool.

I know it's a dirty game, but it's the only one The Man left us to play.

I was thinking the same thing. But now I'm stoked when they announce the upcoming cameo appearances (Mr. T in Nam!). I guess this set up allows every episode to stand on its own; no story-lines necessary.

Yeah, I think that makes it easier to keep the show flowing fresh. Besides, they might eventually do a story arc over time.
