^I agree. Being a cartoon adaptation also lends to the discontinuity of things although the live action Black Dynamite was abit cartoonish itself. It was probably also easier to already have exsisting familiar characters to the fans than to create new ones from scratch. I wonder if Bullhorn will ever run into Rudy Ray Moore?

I always assumed the TV show took place before the movie. If memory serves, didn't the film start with Black Dynamite having been "out of the game" for a while? Alternatively, he also had a brother in the movie, whereas there has been no mention of the character in the series, so it could be an alternative universe.
I know it's a dirty game, but it's the only one The Man left us to play.share

It's obviously an alternate reality because in the Mr. T episode Cream Corn actually says that he keeps having a dream where he dies in a helicopter crash while Black Dynamite screams his name,lol This show is too good and I hope there are enough people watching that season 2 will be coming next year.
sharetruheart_1 beat me to it. Cream Corn brings up the end of the movie where he dies. If you pay real close attention, you can catch other references to the movie as well. I believe it's an alternate universe because Gloria, the love interest in the first film, is not even present. As well as having Puppet Street with living breathing puppets running around and frog puppets slapping their dicks in Cream Corn's face.

shareCream Corn and Bullhorn died in the movie, yes, but if you recall, Bullhorn is also the narrator of the movie. It doesn't need to make perfect sense. It was most likely an intentional continuity break in the movie.
sharei bet if they ever make a part 2 to the movie cream corn and bullhorn will probably return...seriously it really doesn't need to make sense just like that microphone there didn't make sense but was freakin hilarious
