Black Dynamite returned on Jan. 10th with an hour-long episode (The Wizard of Watts) that was utterly, phantasmagorically insane... even more than the show usually is.
Did anybody else see it? Did the Cartoon Network do absolutely anything wahtsoever to promote it?

I think they ended the season with a bang! That had to be one of the most creative and funniest cartoon parodies of The Wiz EVER!

I agree! The second season was better than the first, which is hard to come by with most shows. I also think it benefits the show to only do a few episodes a season, because that means they can come back with a bang. I had low expectations for this show, but it really outdid itself, and I can't wait for Season 3.

share[adult swim] has really gone downhill. They never really promoted Black Dynamite and they've cancelled just about all of my favorite shows. I didn't even see "The Wizard of Watts" until today since they never put the Season 2 shows on their website and I've never seen it replayed. Apparently, with a few quality exceptions, [adult swim] is now the "all Seth MacFarlane, all night" channel...
Anyhow, at least the series went out with a bang... I can't get Basehead's song out of my head! Flying Junkies, hah!
