I enjoyed this for what it was. It was miles better than dumb and dumber 2. I would give this a 6.5. This is one of the few times I disagree with the imdb rating. I don't understand all the hate for this sequel. The only thing I can think of is that the original fans are a bunch of idiots. It's a *beep* zoolander movie not schindler's list the forgotten sequel.
shareInteresting, I definitely had my doubts about this movie and the ratings/reviews confirmed it. However, I found Derek and Hansel's appearance on SNL two weeks ago VERY VERY funny. Sure they celebrated a lot of stuff from the first movie but it was great to see Ben and Owen on screen together for the first time in what feels like a long time. With this in mind and your comment in mind I'd consider seeing it.

shareTo the OP: You went into it with the right attitude, and saw it for what it was, and you enjoyed it apparently. There are people that liked Dumb and Dumber Too, most people didn't. Comedy can be really subjective, it depends a lot on what expectations you have going in.
Unfortunately........with this movie......other people went into the theater with expectations of laughing, they were disappointed.

That's a sensible way to look at it. The people who liked the first one are most likely the ones that go to this (80% on Rotten Tomatoes). Unfortunately, this one is only polling at 31%. You might want to catch it soon before it disappears. Enjoy.
