On Bieber and Kiefer....

I'm curious about this, from people who saw the film in theaters....did the audience cheer when Justin Bieber was killed at the beginning? I only saw the DVD but I imagine people in the audience probably got a kick out of that.

Regarding Kiefer, WTF??? His role made no sense and was one of the strangest cameo's I think I've ever seen in a film. I know, with a film like this, you just have to 'go with it', but in this case...I'm not 100% sure what 'it' was.

That wasn't a little girl, that was a little woman, as in little person.

Did the animals get pregnant too? I forget

Only a group of teenaged girls squealed when Justin came on screen, which was highly annoying. But when he died, one of them cried. I did, too. Of happiness.

Hehe....!

Kiefer was brilliant in this.

He gives maximum effort for every part he does, no matter what. A true pro, just like his father.

and there was me thinking sting was the most bizarre cameo ever. but i guess not many kids from today would know who he is or was.

Killing Bieber was a great opening sequence, probably kind of cathartic for a huge part of the audience. And then near the end, when Derek asks Mugatu why he did it, Mugatu was like: "Really?! Do I need to explain why I killed Justin Bieber?"

I didn't hate Kiefer's cameo, but I can't say I liked it. I was actually disappointed when Derek called him by the name. The whole thing would have been a lot funnier if he had called him "Jack", implying that Kiefer was playing Jack Bauer instead of himself.

But the cameo I really enjoyed was Neil deGrasse Tyson. He coming out of nowhere and speaking the way he does was the funniest part of the movie for me.

reply

Maybe that wanted "Jack", but Manny Coto didn't give them approval.
