Pregnancy at the end of Season 3

I am so confused so season 3 ends with Molly saying she's pregnant but season 4 starts with her not pregnant? Did I miss an episode....I'm binge watching this before the final season and I am a bit confused.

Thanks.

There is also a longer thread with some arguments, but this will do:

Oh, the dangers of binge watching. I wished someone had never coined that term. "Binge" is generally a negative term: alcohol, drugs, eating.

You can't watch DECADES TV on the weekend without being accused of bingewatching. Host Bill Curtis says, "You're binge watching the Doris Day show." I yell back, "No, you jerk, you're binge airing. I'm only here 20 minutes; you've been here all day."

I found the longer thread:

I live in the US, and watched Molly and Mike announce Molly being pregnant. They dropped the whole thing at the beginning of the new season. If you were on the boards, like I was back then, you would have read our threads and discussions over it.

Yep- the pregnancy ending wasn't aired in the US. Never happened here.

I am streaming them off a site and the episode is where the big tornado hits Chicago. Molly and the family are in the basement and Mike comes down and she tells him something about nine months and they all start celebrating. Then Mike goes to call his mom to tell her the news. Then Season 4 airs and no mention, just Molly quitting her job. I was so upset.

Was aired in the US, read my post above or at the bottom of this thread.

Yes, Molly announced that she was pregnant in the US airing. But the producers thought a baby, so soon into the show would box the show in. We talked about this, and there are various threads about it back during the beginning of season 4. I was on the board then and we discussed it.

I think it was only in the eastern time zone, or in limited markets that the pregnancy news aired in the U.S. We did not see it that night in SoCal, due to the episode being pulled because of the tornado in Oklahoma, I believe it was. When the episode finally air a week later, there was no pregnancy announcement included. I had heard about the change, and saw the original edit online and compared it to my local airing and the on-demand offering, and they were, indeed, different.
