In Connecticut, only two towns escaped the swine flu. If it had been as deadly as the one on the show, Connecticut would be dead!

If all hell breaks lose, the best place to be living at is a small well protected town without the religious fanatics.
When resources and food run out, the Amish will get run down by the starving hordes.
A good solution would be gathering a small group of people, get on boats with weapons, farming supplies and seeds, animals, then head for a small uninhabitable island and fortify it with armed watch towers. Sink anything that comes near the shores. Extra batteries and night vision goggles for the towers is a must, you'd want to spot any surprise attacks at night.

And I was thinking only the Amish would know how to survive since it wouldn't make any difference to them (as far as I know, I don't know what is their most advanced technology)
