Wait a minute... Max Von Sydow and Mads Mikkelsen speaking Finnish in an animated Mummi troll movie? What the *beep* is going on here?!

The moomin/mumin-books, and later tv-series, were all originally in Finnish-Swedish. Tove Janssons first language was Finnish-Swedish, and her books were later translated into Finnish and other languages.

They also spoke English. It was a very sweet children's film that I enjoyed even though I'm a 40 cough cough something woman. Of course Sniff was my favorite.
